how do i look at wars in my world? does it have something to do with the legends screen.

Going to the Ages in the Legends screen lists all the events and the year they happened in, ordered progressively by year. hitting ENTER will let you view more about the event at the top of the screen, and within that, there are other pieces of information you can scroll over and press ENTER to view more about; most notably, a battle will tell you which war it is a part of.
