Dwards starving to death

Why do they do this when i have 100+ items of cooked meals??  and its on THANKSGIVING!!!

Food stockpiles forbidden or inaccessible?
Can't path to food?

Wrong food type?  Remember that food classified as "other" can be other things than prepared meals, so if you are basing yourself off that, you may, for example, actually have 100 units of fat and tallow and no prepared meals at all.

are they outside? the stay inside order can make them stick if yu dont have a meeting place

Lol, this is funny.

Alrgiht, be cool  8)
Check if doors to your stockpile are forbidden
Check if the food is outside/in the light
Make sure you have TONS of barrels
make sure there is not a workshop in the way or something. (Learned that you can only go into a certain workshop in a certain direction)
Make sure you didn't accsidently place any zones near that area. (Dwarves dont seem to like walking near a fishing area.)
