Masterwork Bolt Discard = Art Defacement.

Not a bug so much as a flawed feature.

Masterwork bolts should not count for art defacement when lost in chasms/magma.

As far as I know its a well known thing. A lot of people have commented on it.

That said it does sort of make sense, I mean, if you had just poured your heart and soul into making this GREAT set of bolts only to have some wanker go and throw it into a chasm you'd probably be a bit annoyed?

I don't think it is so much thrown into the chasm as it is fired from a crossbow and didn't get destroyed on firing.  It missed its target and came to rest in the chasm or magma.  That lone forbidden bolt was then destroyed.

I think the best solution is to just get rid of projectile recovery.
