I want to create a reaction that turns metal into killer robots! is this possible if I created a species of robots then made a reaction with them as the final product? or would they come out as vermin.

Reactions create vermin only for the moment, that is correct.
You can have the killer robots, but you can't turn metal into them.

Well, vermin CAN be harmful, so I guess you could create TRUE killer robots (that also attack their creators).

Animal traps aren't as effective as cage traps, since vermin can teleport.  Try it, and be annihilated >:D
