Why are they doing that? No people have ever been killed except an outpost liaison, and that was done by the local Giant Cave Spider a long time ago.

I believe sentient resident creatures will get names after a certain amount of time, so it makes sense that they'd all get names at once.

When do you get a message about something being named? I've had plenty of monsters and champions get named, but there was never a message.

Kill-names are never announced.
