World Of Goo
« on: October 08, 2008, 02:12:36 pm »

World of goo is Artful and Smart!
World of goo is Brave with NO DRM!
World of goo is Candy for the Brain!
World of goo is Delicious, apparently. Or at least the little Goos are.

An indie game which, while in many ways is a diametric opposite of Dwarf Fortress, is just as worthy of praise as our favorite game. It's hand-made backdrops and graphics and music and gooballs all have a unique feel and unity. The simple game play mechanics always grow more complex and more entertaining.

And this fantastic goo product is being sold- free of DRM! Think about the implications! If this plucky little game can succeed without the domineering burden of Digital Rights Management on it, it could change the entire industry direction! Who wouldn't want to spend a mere $20 dollars when the alternative would be to break the little goo's hearts?

Everyone needs to go get a copy! Right now! I'll wait...

Well? Do you have it yet?

Oh yeah, it comes out this Monday, unless you pre-ordered it a while ago. Get it!!!

Did you just post a bunch of vegi-dicks on my board?  I've been trying to combat forum devolution a bit, and that involves fewer vegi-dicks!

Yes, random is funny, isn't it? Sometimes I set up a random number generator when I need a good laugh.

No...  You build stuff using balls of goo.  Look it up.

I posted this before somewhere else.

World of Goo = awesome nuff' said.

Seriously the only problem is there isn't more of it. I could write a huge list of what's good about it but I don't feel like doing it now and the above statement seems self-explanatory after you've played it. These guys need to be recognized.
