DwarfMaster or HackFortress
« on: October 11, 2008, 11:27:43 pm »

My tabletop gaming group (books and dice) have recently begun a new game inspired by DF. HackDwarfMasterFortress!
Using HackMaster rules to play a game inspired by DF. Thought some of you might be interested.

We're all playing dwarves trying to make a go of a settlement/mining operation/ civilization - I think you get the idea - hehe.
The rest of the gang are not DF players but they have been shown the game and listened to me rant about how great it is.

Our game logs are here:

Feel free to take a peek.

There's going to be a lot of dwarf-on-rock violence.

Very nice.  A friend and I talked of a campaign like this.  We decided that it would take a special sort of masochistic group that loved to play 'hard' and did not get to attached to their characters for such a thing to work.  Good luck and hope you brought enough mushrooms and booze!
