I was very surprised. This was my shortest worldgen ever.

Seed 0 used to give 0 rejects. That changed a while ago though. I always used it for testing mods, so I didn't have to wait as long during world gen.

 I remember a few versions ago, before all the worldgen settings came,  frequently had worldgens with 0-10 rejects. I guess it was just luck, because now it takes around a hundred nowadays.

Smaller maps generally give more rejects than larger ones, at least in my experience. I can get a large size map at 1-3 rejects but it usually takes upwards of 100 for a smaller sized one at stock settings.

To me the saddest part about this whole topic...

Is that the COOLEST Continent I ever seen in the game... has such a lame murk. (And the Planet's name isn't bad either)

Alright... MAYBE the Murk of Beaks COULD be cool if it got that name due to a swarm of Pheonix living there.

Pocket worlds have the most problems, the last time I generated one I had upwards of 600 rejects (all near instant) before it ran history.  I've heard of near-infinite rejects for them too (i.e. user abort at over 1000).

With worldgen settings, you can disable pretty much all the checks, which lets you gen pretty much everything with 0 rejects. (This is how we get single-biome hell-worlds and the like--they would normally be illegal and get rejected.)
