What does this token mean?

[AMBUSHPREDATOR] does not have a description on the wiki. Can someone enlighten me as to what it does?

The creature will use stealth and not show up on the list of creatures in fortress mode until it is found.

So it has nothing to do with a monster being hostile or not?

[LARGE_PREDATOR] is what causes creatures to attack you when in adventure mode and travelling.

If you have an [AMBUSHPREDATOR] that is also a [LARGE_PREDATOR] and that lives somewhere you might go walking, there's a chance you will be attacked by something you can't see.

Until it bites you, that is.
