You could always set up some stone-fall traps near your valuables (Using the chokepoint idea, you could set up a few layers of traps to deter any kobold thief)
Kobolds aren't affected by traps.

Not until they are detected...

I usually set up the dog at the END of the corridor of traps. Then when they run back out, they DAIH

Actually, upright spikes can hurt anything when triggered (incl friendlies).  Just funnel the kobolds through a hall packed with spikes and set a cheesemaker to pull the lever repeatedly.

I prefer for my cheesemakers to strangle them personally. At least they're useful to kill megabeasts and stuff.

This being Homestuck, I'm not sure whether that's post-scratch Rose or Vriska with a wig.

Wow, I didn't know that their trap invulnerability was dependent on them sneaking.

...

Now I'll be able to catch some of the little boogers and have some *fun* with them.

I've been looking for a test subject for my drowning chamber.  Just to 'make sure it works,' you know.  It hasn't seen use yet.......  :P

Now that's just undwarvenly, a flooding chamber that hasn't killed at least 2 kittens and 3 nobles in various 'accidents'.

OT: Yah, you're about to take it from the kobolds. Hard. Rectally.

The chamber, 'tis new.  My previous chamber was used to kill every pet of every immigrant as they came in.  This particular fortress hasn't seen any nobles or cats yet, so I have yet to dispose of them.  ;P
