How might I go about modding elephants so that they are pretty much the same (maybe bigger, weren't mammoths bigger?) and live in cold climates?

Change the raws of course.
change the biome
change the size to 25 or greater. Maybe 30
change the product to wool (is this right?)

Try size 40. Right now, elephants are little and easy to kill. Send out a single crossbow peasant and you'll eventually have a legendary hunter. There isn't any risk any more.

Here's some from a Mod that I've been tinkering with. I tried to go for a more realistic approach. And, for the hell of it, I've included some more Elephant variants, as well.

The 4TUSKS bodypart should be easy enough for you to figure out ;)

As well, all the posts i've seen you make are flame posts, barely if at all constructive.

Wow. I thought size increased a dmg/hp a lot more dramatically. Since cats are 3 and dragons are like 18. Guess I need to re-size everything I was modding =/.
