Birthright: The Gorgon's Alliance

Yeah, I had this and liked it back in 97, it was simple and had some major flaws, but I really liked the whole cross genre thing. RPG game inside a strategy game, not just a strategy with RPG elements, (Like Spellforce series, the Guild 1400, Warcraft ect). Is there anything anyone has come across that has the same type of play?

That is really unfortunate. The only enviable aspect of  the game as it stands, was controlling your general in quests to get loot, which could apply to battles. The game is pretty much unplayable beyond that, so I feel no need to try resurrecting it on my windows vista machine

Nah, I haven't seen a game like that so far...sadly.
The game concept was amazing, too bad that the game was full with bugs.. IIRC at least.
