Clean yourself up!

Make soap useful, so that if a dwarf has a little free time and there's some in a stockpile, he'll grab it, go to a well and it'll delete all thirty seven pages of vomit, goo, blood and other assorted fluids from him and his clothes. Either that or just make them vanish on season changes.

I think the short version is :  Dwarves will eventually clean themselves up, but the developer hasn't gotten to that point yet because there are more interesting things to code that will add more value to the game.

Dissapearing with the seasons is an easier solution, but would require coding effort that doesn't end up in the final solution.

Personally, I think 'not saving stains when you save everything else' would be a good interum solution, but it doesn't bug me enough to prefer cleaning to, say, caravans and economies that make sense.

Perhaps a laundry workshop could solve this problem.

Dirty clothes + soap + water bucket = clean clothes.

Of course a stockpile that can differentiate between dirty and clean items needs to be added, along with the ability to take clothes that are owned by other dwarves.

Does everyone understand the difference now?
