I guess I'm still on track for a June PRErelease.  There are now 43 goals left on my little list.  Then there's that other list of stuff I had been planning to put in the magic release...  a few hundred things there.  Maybe they'll have to be added in progressively as the other releases are done.

Yeah...  my local Plan file (which is like the Plan on the web but expanded with technicals and profanity) is a thousand lines long.  Somehow I expect to get that done...  then there's the future pages...  At least we can be pretty sure that however far the project gets, people will be wearing clothes this year.

Down to 42 now.  Meaning I changed the way models work so the frills are glued on right.  The next 10 are straight-forward.  Then there are some harder and/or long ones.  There are a few crash bugs that I definitely need to fix.  For instance, it crashes whenever you die.  It has to do with printing the corpse model, but beyond that I have no idea.  Then there are things like the leaf bug and the text printing bug that I don't even have a clue on.

Fire now comes off the shadow creature as it burns to death in sunlight.  However, fire is treated as a liquid.  So it pools on the ground...  that will be fixed presently.  (2 days to finish shadow creature burning)

Then I'm going to finish off healing spells and spells to make creature body part temperature increase, so people can melt stuff. (1 day)

After that I just need to make sure the save files still work.  I can do the PRErelease after that. (X days -- depends on how messed up save files are)

Oh, and the kobold eyes have to be fixed prior to any PRErelease, as a matter of pride.  I think I said before that kobolds look like they are wearing mascara right now, since I worked on human faces. (1 day)

So that's 4 + X days.  Hopefully that lands in June...

Done with the first two things up there...

As usual, being too lazy to walk over to the nearest rabbit, I tested the new spells on myself.  I melted off my upper body muscles and, bleeding out and drifting in and out of consciousness, managed to get a healing spell off.  This removes bleeding and pain, and ages the wound a number of seconds depending on the spell (this version does 100000 seconds, which is like a day I guess).  So I cast the spell a few times, and I had a giant nasty scar on my chest but was alive.  I walked slowly because of the wound.  Then I cast the melting spell twice in succession to melt off my right arm.  Again I managed to heal myself.  The healing spells don't lower the temperature gain of the melt spell so my upper body started melting again...  I tried to fix it with a healing spell but cast body detonation by accident.  My character exploded, and that was that.
