Author Topic: [40a] Dwarves simply stand around doing nothing when ordered indoors.  (Read 681 times)

They do this outside no less. Since they were crowding around the wagon I thought that they considered it to be inside so I deconstructed it, now they simply stop what they're doing and stand around when told to go inside. I tried drafting them and ordering them to move inside but they still just stood there.

40a and I are not getting along.

Yeah, it's not immediately obvious, but without a meeting zone in a location that is permitted by the stay-inside order, they are utterly confused when that order is given.  You can create a small one somewhere in the basement of your fort, disable, and then only enable when you actually give the order.  That way, you don't get dwarves hanging around down there normally, but only when they are forced inside.
