Author Topic: [39f] Buildng dirt road on glacier water/rock transition leads to farmable soil  (Read 939 times)

If you dig down to the rock on a glacier map and then build a dirt road on the rock (despite it being 'rock'?), it leaves behind farmable soil (or potentially sand depending on biome I guess?).

As this makes farming trivial on a glacier, I'm guessing this is unintended.

I did a quick search for this in the bugs list + forum but could only find the related (I'm guessing) bug 393 (the 'stairs acting screwy on water/rock transition' one).

I noticed this happen when digging a down staircase into the rock too. I came out made of sand. Not in any form that could be harvested or used cuz it was a staircase, so i thought nothing of it.
I wonder if the same thing happens when you build then remove a construction on that level?
