[40a & b] Map Images
« on: August 21, 2008, 08:28:04 am »

The only related bug i can find is this one, but its marked as completed

000282 ▪ (0.23.125.23a) [technical] map export is garbled after some init modifications

Every time I export an image i get a very garbled map. Its not the DF map compressor, because i check the images before i compress them and they are very garbled at that point as well.

here is the uploaded map.

So then i decided to change my version to the new one, and got the same results

I forgot to mention before that I am using the LL mod by The Capt'n Mayday, but I didnt figure that would screw up the export file.

here are the ini entries i've changed. I'll remove LL and see if i can reproduce it.
Spoiler (click to show/hide)
Edit::
The number of layers doesnt seem to matter. Nor does having LL lands installed. I uninstalled it, kept my ini options, made a new fort, exported it and got much of the same results.

Edit::2
Re-downloaded .40b and .40a and tried again, Could not reproduce the bug. I have a feelign something happened when I downloaded/unpacked the versions. (copy and pasted the INI so it was identical)

Huh.  Okay, let me know if it comes up again.  I tried it with that init in 40b and didn't get anything.  I'll have a 40c up in ~2 hours.  Maybe that one will screw up, he he he.
