Dosn't it annoy you when you have a cool idea in a post, and you realy need answers or whattever, but your post just dies, receeding to the un-loved 2nd and 3rd pages of topics, never to be re-visited...
I was kinda wondering if it was a acceptable to post to your own topic, just to put it on the top of the list, and get more answers...?

Its called a bump... Also, seeing how nobody saw it in the first place, no one would notice if you reposted it completely.

No... you misunderstood what a bump is. A bump is when someone makes a useless post in order to push the thread back to the top of the first page, usually by saying "bump" in the post.

No... you misunderstood what a bump is. A bump is when someone makes a useless post in order to push the thread back to the top of the first page, usually by saying "bump" in the post.


Thus "bumping" it to the top of the order.  Thus the term.

I wouldn't bump ideas since it's possible no one cared but questions should be fair game
