[39e] Floating wagons

I made a merchant trap pit in one of my forts.  I dug a pit and built a floor out in the middle of it with a Depot on it then when the merchants came I destroyed the connecting floor causing the depot and merchants to fall into the pit and die.  Everything worked perfectly except for one problem.  The wagons, horses drawing the wagons, and merchants steering the wagons didn't fall, and are now floating over the pit.

Update:  I was still able to build floors under the wagon and when I did so, and then built a bridge large enough for them to cross, they apparently left without any further problems.

I, too, once encountered this on accident.  I think it is probably related to the glitch by which, if you deconstruct or destroy the depot, something goes wrong and they will never move again.  Examples from the past:

1. I have deconstructed the depot, and sure enough, they don;t move.

2. I once accidentally had a 'dislodged wall' sort of accident fall on the depot, destroying it.  Same effect.  This was way up high, si I decided the only way to get the f**kers out of the way was to drop them.  I had my dwarves remove the stone floors attaching the area the depot was on to everything else.  Everything else fell perfectly, just as expected, except the wagon and merchants, who sat hovering in midair.  Unfortunately I didn't report it at the time because I was still relatively new, and had only begun modding, and had not yet explored the forums yet.
