[39e] Only 200 years in medium?
« on: August 01, 2008, 12:48:45 pm »

Is it normal for a world in MEDIUM size to stop generating after the year 200?

I cannot afford to create a large world because my computer is a rig.

Yes, it's normal. Generation checks for megabeast percent left alive. On medium worlds it starts checking at 200, sees all the dead megabeasts and generation is finished. If you don't like it, change year to start checking in advanced worldgen parameters. Alternatives: mod megabeasts to be stronger, make more megabeast caves, less civilizations and other things.

Hm, I put megabeast percentage control on ignore(the norm is 80) but it didn't work.
I guess I'll give a try with the 200 years check, didn't know about it!

Make sure you're editing the Medium params and save them!  I had a little trouble with that myself.
