39c/d Sun berry irregularity
« on: July 27, 2008, 01:20:42 pm »

After purchasing a bag of sun berry seeds I was unable to plant them for 2 years, until the caravan showed up again with sun berry fruit.  The world was created in 39c, and subsequently upgraded to 39d.  I have before and after saves (small region, aprox 2MB each) if they would be useful.

edit: another oddity - whip vine planting was also turned on, even though I have no whip vine seeds.  However the caravan did bring a bag of whip vine flour.

Where you always trying to use the same farm plot?  If the location isn't questionable (subterranean or in a mountain biome) and you've got accessible seeds, I'd like to see a save that has the problem.  Should be a straightforward fix if it isn't a biome or seed access problem.

The same set of plots were in use throughout - I made plots in each of my three non-mountain biomes.  After the elves arrived with a bag of whip vine flour and a cluster of sunberries I was able to plant my existing sunberry seeds and whip vines showed up as plantable even though I did not have any vine seeds.

I've uploaded 3 saves (39c can't plant, 39d can't plant, 39d can plant) here:
http://dffd.wimbli.com/file.php?id=360  I also included the world gen params in case you want to regenerate the world.

Okay, I've downloaded it and I'll check it out at some point.
