« on: July 25, 2008, 11:12:16 am »

Hey,

Quick question, Is there a way to stop having your Dwarves cancel tasks to go drink seeing as I then have to re-que every thing in the workshops its getting kinda annoying. so my announcements screen is full of red So and so has canceled some task to get a drink/eat/sleep...

is this normal, as before i got two waves of immegrents this didn't seem to happen as much? any ways any advise or help would be apreicated...

and apologies about grammer and spelling I know I suck.

Don't EVER tell someone that you suck (unless you want some bad consequences).

Usually dwarves pause tasks for me and don't cancel them in the workshop.
And if you're annoyed by the red announcements due to usual tasks like "eat/sleep/drink" you can leave just important ones enabled ("o"->"x").

Use the job manager to queue tasks (j>m>q). These tasks are always restarted if cancelled.
