A question bout old versions.
« on: July 17, 2008, 09:32:15 pm »

So i just noticed that butcher shops will butcher severed body parts in addition to whole corpses and provide a little meat and bone for them.

My question is: Did this happen in the old versions? If so, i must have missed this piece of awesomeness.

I just noticed this myself, when the Butcher dragged the 'Rhesus Macaque head' over to the workshop and went to work. Suddenly, I want all my Hunters to wield axes to maximize the _limbing_.

Though honestly the idea of harvesting even a single unit of meat from a head is pretty gruesome. D:

I take it you've never heard of delicious pickled monkey brains.

A skilled hammerdwarf is probably better for the job (because they will often send prey flying into obstacles, blowing them into pieces.)
