Regarding the [STANCE] body token.
« on: July 15, 2008, 02:44:31 pm »

How many [STANCE] body parts must be lost before a creature loses the ability to move? Is it just one, or a certain percentage of them?

For example, if I made a creature with eighty legs (I'm too lazy to type all that, so this is just hypothetical), if something cuts a single foot off, will it fall over?

regardless, the slime shooter will be completed, come hell or high water, which are both entirely plausible setbacks at this point.

Once half of 'em are lost. Don't have to be on the same side.

You might find that getting hit in the leg will still knock you over, even if you have 79 left to stand on. The difference of having 80 is you won't be prevented from standing up again until you loose 40 legs, by which time you will most certainly have bled to death.

I'm basing this on my experiences playing a hydra. Getting stabbed in a leg did make me fall over despite having four legs, and regardless of having six other heads intact, being smacked in the seventh still stunned me and made me helpless.
