Fourm Bug- PM not coming up as a new window

When I log on, if I have any new Privae Messages, I get a window saying

You have one or more personal messages, would you like to open them in a new window?
{OK} {Cancel}

When I hit OK, nothing happens. They still load fine when I go through my profile.

This is just a guess, but you don't have some form of popup blocking enabled, do you?

Which browser do you use? Is there an AD-hunter or popup-blocker as Tayrin already said?

There was one, but I told it, "Bay12 is cool, don't block them."

I think thatit's the third different security thing I had to disengage for this.

But it's still not coming up. Does it work for anyone else?

I've had this same problem with SMF for years. Luckily, it really isn't much of a problem. I suspect the person that coded the JavaScript alert didn't actually make it create a new window with the messages.

It still serves its purpose to make you notice that there are messages.
