Regarding the Wiki issue, I've thrown my vote (for what it's worth) in with the mediawiki one at
http://dwarf.lendemaindeveille.com/index.php . My reasoning is simple; a dedicated wiki allows more freedom of content than a subsection with either wikipedia or gameinfo. To that end I have worked on, and am working on, wiki structure. Things like the community and main pages, page categories, some project pages, etc.
Anyway, check it out and throw in whatever information you have. The important thing to remember is that as long as you put the stuffing in, other people can come in and tidy it all up. .
Aside from content, it still needs template pages, stub listings, possibly disambiguation pages and similar things. The main issue I see at the moment is dealing with the difference in Adventure and Fortress modes. I've tried tackling it with the parenthesis feature of mediawiki... for example:
FAQ (Fortress)
is a different page than
FAQ (Adventure)
When linking, mediawiki will automatically drop the (xxx)'s from the name if you put a pipe ( '|' character ) at the end of the link.
Eg:
[[FAQ (Adventyre)|]] becomes FAQ
[[FAQ (Fortress)|]] also becomes FAQ, but links to another page.
Of course, there may be other ways of seperating them, or maybe the two modes should be kept together? What wonders await?
