A short rather long adventurer story
25th Sandstone, 200 - Log of Mattesk Icmonidla, a Human Adventurer.
Several days travel across a large - thick forrested area - has lead me to a single tower. The tower reaches the sky like none other I have been graced to see in my life. A chill breeze steadily overcomes my body as I sit against the rough-worn wall. I wait in hope that the other members of my party will catch up after we got split up during a surprise attack from 3 Packs of Wolves. My party consists of Renal Shessatorma Umbehasri a Wrestler and two crossbowman of whom their names have slipped my mind.
Renal has been a friend and companion of mine for nearly a year now and I have gotten to know him quite well. He is a magnificent wrestler and has been a great help to me on many occassions.
It has been an hour now and there is no sign of them catching up. I fear for their lives as the sun is beginning to set. It has become freezing out here and If I stay any longer I may lose some toes to frostbite. . so I follow the walls round until I find an entrance. I Pray to Seba that this tower is either abandoned or full of friendly inhabitants. Both seem unlikely but its gotta be a little warmer inside. I venture forth into a maze of walls only to find no-one in clear sight. A sigh of relief. .
I settle in an alcove by the entrance and gradually daze into a sleep. . . . My eyes spring open almost instantaneously to find a Goblin towering over me with his Iron sword held high above his head. He brings it down with a distinct airslashing noise only for it to be followed by a loud crash against the stone wall behind. I had rolled out the way and quickly gathered my sword and shield before analysing the hostile being. Judging from the armour and equipment he was wearing it didn't seem he was a normal Goblin. Swiftly, the Goblin charged at me, sword held to his side. He swings his blade towards my neck but I pull up my shield to block his onslaught, I then quickly stab towards his stomach only to be blocked and pushed away by his own battle worn shield. .
Several collisions of sword and shield inform me more of his skill. It seems he is an Elite Goblin Swordmaster of sorts and his skill may surpass mine. The thought is transfixed in my mind as I am pushed back from his ferocious flurry of attacks. I become cornered and pinned against the wall as the Goblin continues his unnerving attacks. My shield is gashed to hell and as my arm weakens he finds an opening and lodges his sword into my left upper arm before ripping his weapon back out again. I drop my sword and cry out in pain as the blood oozes out of the blackened wound.
The Goblin continues to attack cutting up my left hand, lower arm and my right foot. I become pinned to the ground as I watch the Goblin raise his sword in anger. There is no escape. I squint and grit my teeth as I think to myself. . "Is this the end?" . .
A Roar of Epic Length and proportions rings out through the building. An armoured figure dives and clashes into the Goblin knocking him several feet across the room. As I widen my eyes I focus on the face of this figure. . It was Renal. .
He charged towards the goblin, punching him twice in the chest with the rupturing sound of broken ribs. Renal then grabs the Goblins right upper arm and swiftly adjusts, locks and breaks his shoulder causing him to drop his weapon.
The Goblin now enraged pushes the wrestler back with his working arm and begins to let out a series of attacks that Renal only just blocks while being pushed back towards myself - laying on the floor bleeding from the several wounds I had recieved. The goblin, seeing me still laying there, quickly hits me firm in the face knocking me unconcious with painful thoughts forever on my mind.
I awake to the sight of 2 tall figures. I quickly survey my surroundings only to find blood splatters everywhere and a corpse a few metres away. As I regain more of my conciousness I look more closey on the figures. . they were the two crossbowmen of whom recently joined our team. I look down on myself to see that my major wounds had been bandaged up - presumably by the crossbowmen.
As I focus more I begin to distinguise the corpse laying a couple of metres away. To my relief it was the Goblin. But As I continue to look around, Renal was not in sight. .
"Your finally awake my friend" One of the crossbowman says.
I reply "Where is Renal?"
"We haven't seen him since we got split up" The other xbowman confirms.
"He was here fighting that Goblin. I was knocked unconcious only to wake up and find the Goblin dead and you two here."
"There is a blood trail leading out of the tower but it ends a couple of feet from the entrance" The first Xbowman says.
I try to rise to my feet only to squint and grit my teeth in pain and anguish before dropping back to the ground.
"You've been badly wounded. Your going to need a lot of rest." The second said.
"Theres a human town nearby. We will take turns carrying you there. Once we arrive you must get a lot of bedrest if you wish to recover." The first replies.
I nod in acknowledgement before being hauled upon the back of the first crossbowman.
"I'm sorry but I never caught your names" I say towards them.
They chuckle slightly before replying:
"I am Par Uzutestri" - First
"And I am Emim Lidesesle" - Second
"Thanks for all of this my friends" I reply.
They both smile before walking out of the tower and back into the forest. I continue to think whether Renal is still alive or not. After a couple of minutes I doze off to sleep. . .

I didn't expect it to be this long as it is my first community story but I hope someone will have the patience to read it.
Thanks for any comments - in advance.
