That's why Dwarf Fortress players tend to let the justice positions go unfilled (tantruming dwarves can be dealt with just as readily by the activation of your military/deployment of active squads/large numbers of war dogs), and routinely murder any nobles who are not the Dungeon Master or Mayor.

Largely because the DM actually does something useful (tames things other dwarves cannot tame), and the Mayor being killed will just cause someone, possibly with worse/more inconvienant tastes to be elected in his stead.

The rest? Fuck 'em. I'll drown/starve all their asses, from random House Talcdildo representatives straight up to the King.
