Seemingly normal quest, and then i was surrounded by GCS :(

Thats right, my legendary +3 swordsman was surrounded by 3 GCS's
In a cyclops cave.

Who would have figured. Ive never seen a GCS before, and i have looked in chasums etc. But today i walked int oa cave looking for a cyclops with my army of drunks, and in about 5 minutes i had GCS's swarming my guys. I had a bout 10 drunks and 8 of them died (then i lopped off the head bit of one)

I then got killed by the other 2.

I was kind of unhappy :P

Sure thing. It wasn't that spectacular though, i already had my arm ripped off.

It was very scary. First time i saw a GCS ever and i didn't know it was one till all my buddies were dead :P.

Yeah, I have yet to encounter any of the really threatening animals.  I think the worst I've faced so far is a fire imp.

It's not exactly a creature but the worst i've faced so far was 2 legendary crossbow goblins. I sent about 10 adventurers into those goblin towers and every single time I died. I only managed to beat them when my axeman wore an exceptional iron plate mail. I managed to beat them without a scratch.

Go figure.

Also where would I find a GCS?

In most caves as far as I know. I actually managed to kill about four in a row in my last game with my band of 2 macemen, 2 swordsmen and a hammerman. One or two of which I practically soloed. Ironically enough I encountered another two GCS not much later, and filled with confidence we all get killed in the first turn.  :P
