LabourDF Utility

Read about this one on the Wiki.

The ablity to apply profiles seems really cool, would make the whole process of getting priority work done less of a nightmare of deactivating/reactivating labour preferences individually.

Just wondering how stable it is; does anyone here use it frequently? Are there issues? Don't want to get 30+ hours into a fortress to find it corrupts the save or something.

Since I started using it I've been unable to play without it because it's just to darn useful.

As for stability I've had the LabourDF tool crash a number of times, mostly when doing profile exchanges, but it always seems to crash after it does it's task and I've not had it screw up the game in any way.

Sorry for thread necromancy, but I felt replying to this thread is more elegant than spawning a new one.

In short: where is LabourDF? and what did it exactly do? I read tales of its magnificence but it is nowhere to be seen. I couldn't locate it even in the History of the Wiki Utilities page. Can anybody shed some light on the mystery of its disappearance?

When the first z-axis version of DF was released they started a fresh wiki, I found the utility rather easily by searching the old one.

From the description, it seems to have the exact same function as Dwarf Foreman.
