Hes a berserk Dwarf not a Wild animal.(despite the similarity)

Thus he doesn't have the [PET] tag,so no,unless you mod the game and add [PET] to dwarves.Even then this probably hasn't been tested, and since he is in a berserk state,it probably doesn't matter.

well you can lock him inside a room with a noble...

That last gobbo would stand there, missing an arm, punctured in a kidney, liver, and spleen, fading in and out of consciousness at the far end of where the drawbridge would go, and his last sight would be the drawbridge dropping down and smashing him like a bug.

God DAMN I love this game!

I like the zoo idea :D  But, noble annoyance eliminator would be fun too.

If you add [pet] tag to a dwarf, could you assign a dwarf to be his own pet ???

well, he's killed something already so taming him wouldn't do anything anyway.

dig out an arena that has actual doors for an exit, and put more cage traps in front of the doors.  Place his cage inside this arena, and drop any nobles/expendable pets/goblin kidnappers etc down in there with him while the doors are locked.  Pull the lever to set him free and watch the blood fly.  Then, unlock the doors so he tries to run out into the hallway through the cage traps.  He'll get caged again and you can reset the whole thing for the next wave of fodder.

I've GOT to get more caged berserkers now :D

Oh, adding the pet tag makes it so that preferences for dwarves can't be changed. I.E. The miner can't later become a woodcutter.

I vote for sticking him in a noble's room connected to a lever.
The noble won't mind, because he has someone to beat at his leasure. Unitl of course, you let him out, killing said noble.

This paradox would probably make the universe implode. Good job.

Tried it, as I stated above

I have to agree here.  We need more fun and interesting ways to kill nobles who are all "I WOULD LIKE SEVEN MASTERWORK ROSE GOLD STATUES OR YOU DIE."

I'm glad all the DF players are not living in one district. It'd be the most dangerous district for the whole world.
Actually, it'd be the most dangerous district in hundreds of thousands of worlds, starting with 'Xah Rabin' The Dimension of Omen.

Get a bonecarver to make suits of armor out of the poor dwarf's dead cats. Also make a bunch of bolts and a crossbow out of said kitty bones. Then give it all to one lucky dwarf, and have him face off with McBeserk.
