I saw a post about in the usenet group rec.games.roguelike.development discussing it by the time the first version was released. I tried it and fell in love imediatly.

PCGamer.

Quite a while ago they had an article on it in their Community pages (or whatever they call them) and they put what was then the latest version of the game on the demo disc.

I think I followed a link either from the roguelike wiki or from the HomeOfTheUnderdogs..
I've been playing Tome, Nethack and ADOM for quite some years and was browsing for new developments in roguelike world.
Then I found DF  ;)

What is up with all the SA references ?
Its one thing to limit users who can WRITE on forums, but to lock up READING the forum for non-registered users is simply stupid, to say the least.
