Hey! I just found out about this game while reading Games for Windows. And let me just say.. Freakin' sweet! It's the middle of the night and I have to go to work in the morning, but I am going to play some more.

And dont' worry about losing all your fortresses (or giving them up) for the first few (hundred) tries, happens to all of us, so keep the wiki close to hand.

wow, i didnt know it was possible to find hemitite before the chasm.  thats cool.

It's very rare, but it does happen. Especially when a vein of ore bisects the chasm, and usually when the distance between river/chasm is huge (which has it's own benefits for fortress planning).
