Modding Skills?
« on: May 07, 2008, 09:40:00 am »

Hi there, I'd like to ask a few questions;

1) Is it possible to edit the names of skills? For example;

Not shield-user   5
Accomplished Whirling-Birling-Octopus-Tentacler   90

2) Is it possible to edit the skills you learn? For example;

[SKILL:WHIRL]

1)  Somewhat.  Any profession ending in "man" can be changed to whatever you like.  This was put in place so that Toady could change a swordsman into a swordsdwarf.  Outside of that, however, professions remain hardcoded.  The dwarf profile in the creature_standard.txt file will show the complete list of customizable professions.

2)  Nope.
