Help with new race

I tried to make troglodytes but they won't reproduce

I think it might be their age but I'm not sure

Hmmm. Maybe it's something to do with [ACTIVE_SEASON]? I dunno, the [CAN_CIV] tag is missing as well, maybe that's got something to do with it. Your ages seem fine, if brief by Dwarf standards, but I don't see any conflicts there.

Anyone with fresh eyes see anything?

Hah...that gives me an idea - a "mayfly mod". Drastically shorten lifespans, so that your civ's species dies within two years, tops, of being born. See how well you can make a fortress when you barely have time to make a legendary miner before he bites it, let alone the more involved skills.

Biggest problem I'd see is convincing your citizens to make little sprogs. Second biggest would be dealing with the corpse problem, both in terms of coffin space and in terms of depression.

I figured out what was wrong they just wouldn't survive so I changed their punch attack damage up and it did the trick
