"Triggering" strange events
« on: May 14, 2008, 11:20:00 pm »

I love reading the bug reports, since DF's failsafe attitude means that even strange errors do get parsed, in one way or annother. I would like to see these things happen myself, but I have "unfortunately" never had any of these strange errors firsthand. What do I have to do to get Moose Silk, Diorite Cheese, !!water!!, or a set of plump helmet and bed armor?

I've been planning a bugged mod for some time, so that other folks can experience the joy of an utterly screwed-up world.  I'll try to make sure it gets as buggy as possible, without actually crashing anything.

And you can get moose silk naturally or through a botched smelter reaction. I'll try to make a sort of "wildcard" reaction that can produce any number of unusual items, including moose silk anvils.

My plump helmet anvils are the best on this side of my monitor!

There already was an idea to make a completely "gone bananas" mod, but it didn't go anywhere.

There was already an idea to make an adventurer where forum members could decide what he'd do next, but that didn't go anywhere.
