« on: November 25, 2024, 06:09:05 pm »

Hello my smooth stone command isn't marking any of my rough stone walls when I try.

Are you using a v50+ version in ASCII mode? 'cause that's a known issue that might get fixed some day

This is my first day in this forum - and I already found an answer to one of my most important newbie questions.
I play 51.02 in ASCII since January and did not understand that smoothing of the walls could not be set.
Additional question: Will the walls (in my case) still be smoothed although the marking of the tiles can not be fixed?
Is this marking invisible or not existing? If the second possibility is true: Is there any ay to smooth the stones in v50+ ASCII mode?

Thanks for all hints, Trammi

The walls should still get smoothed. And it is fixed in 51.05, I can see smoothing designations after placing them. Oops, no it's not, it's a fix by DFHack. But they will still do the smoothing even when you can't see the designation.
