So...Not really sure where to ask this, so I'm trying here. If Mods decide to move it to another topic, that's okay with me.

My laptop can run DF 50.14 with little issues past being slow to save and such, but my new gaming PC (built to exceed the recommended specs for Satisfactory) can't even launch it... I tried copying the full folder from my laptop to my PC via a USB drive, and still no dice.

Only difference I can see if my laptop runs Win11 Home and the PC has Win11 Pro, but I don't think that explains it...

Help is appreciated! At least I can still return to the laptop and play there, but this is just odd.



EDIT: Found an old Reddit post. Downloading and installing the "Visual C++ Redistributable" and restarting the PC did it.
