Chapter 008: winds of change

2253.10.1

our esteemed scientist Tzzz Tzer-Tzak has completed yet another of their expeditions into the unknown.

it has produced exciting results for the members of the science division, although, given proximity to SUPOX space, we will probably not reap the more tangible benefits of it.




2264.1.2

the VELUTARIAN TRIUM's visit bore fruit for our economy, much as our diplomatic persuasion granted the fruit of our proposal being accepted by the GALACTIC COMMUNITY.

this has spurred the council to consider that, perhaps, not only our goodwill and diplomatic efforts is needed, but skillful influence and direction of the COMMUNITY as well, via POLITICS.

that is something to be left for the future, however.



2264.2.3

what is more pleasing to our harmonic frequencies is that the UMGAH have declared UR-QUAN as rivals, no doubt realizing the danger the exterminators pose to sentience of our galaxy.

perhaps one day we can be all united in our common goal of stopping the UR-QUAN from enacting their genocidal campaigns, perhaps even once and for all.



2264.10.29

it saddends our crystalline cores to see our friends, the THRADDASH and the YEHAT, to go to war, but as it is with military governments everywhere, they couldn't just sit and reconcile.

BRYLL are fighting on the side of the YEHAT, while ANDROSYNTH are fighting on the side of THRADDASH. CHENJESI everywhere are hoping that this war will be of as little casaulties as possible.



2264.12.22

it is unknown why the UR-QUAN have not entered the remainder of SUPOX space and have not conquered their remaining colonies.

but with this war ended our plant-based friends have a chance to rebuild and recuperate.



2265.1.2

the council has given explicit permission to help this lost operative return to CHENJESU space. we cannot allow one of agents be captured, for what political fallout it might cause, it would be still problematic.



2265.2.3

the operation was a success. D'riz has been retired and the informant he made contact with - D'zan - is a junior officer within L'LOSIAN imperial military. this will be useful for us later on.



2265.3.4

this recent development of the ANDROSYNTH government is welcomed, but it seems they might be taking a more fanatical view towards those not of egalitarian alignment.

we will have to monitor their relationships with others in next few months to see what's going to happen.



2265.9.9

the BRYLL become our mutual friends against the UR-QUAN and in this displeasure with the exterminators we can grow closer.

our envoys have begun negotiating various agreements with the BRYLL that they prior to this declaration were not even willing to consider.



2265.12.9

the excavations on the surface of BOMBALA IVA have been completed, and the remnant technology of the extinct natives have given us some technological insights, even if they are not very valuable to us, considering that HOEDUS PRIME has no glaciers to speak of.

more of our operatives are going missing and this time in UR-QUAN territory, which does not bode well to their safety, but we will try nonetheless to guide them back home.

another of the STATECRAFT tradition has been added to our list, improving the workings of the council.

the contact with our operatives in UR-QUAN space has been restored! the news were a great relief to the council members, and the rest of our envoys.

our explorers continue to astonish the science division on TAZZ, and this discovery of living metal is especially noteworthy.

we can only hope our friends, the SUPOX, will make use of it one day.

another agenda has been finished by the CHENJESU COUNCIL, and we yet again turn to egalitarianism as our goal in mind.




2270.1.1

it seems that fate is not on the side of L'LOSIANS nowadays, while our council's TRADITIONS continue to expand at rapid pace, thanks to recent developments in societal studies and cultural monuments.

all this without need for conflict or strife at our soil.



2270.2.11

the great general Jynn has arrived at the doorsteps of the council, and the council has decided that such a bright and dedicated outsider will be best candidate to lead the COREWARD ARMADA as it is lacking a dedicated commanding officer right now.

Jynn has been welcomed with open hands, and the members of science division have been particularily interested in the cybernetic implants of his, most of them beyond our level of technical knowledge.

our explorers continue to find new insights into the living metal. the deposit itself will surely be of great boon to the neighbouring ANDROSYNTH.




2271.7.30

the abhorrent war of the L'LOSIANS against the STELLAR ENTENTE members has come to an end, and with it, came the conquests of several planets.

some lucky BLOBBOS managed to escape to our territories, and of course we welcomed with open appendages.

it was that very day that the council has decided to declare the IMPERIUM OF L'OTH as our rivals like the UR-QUAN, hopefully showing everyone, that L'LOSIANS are evil and unwilling to cooperate.



2271.9.18

it didn't take long for the word of our rivalry to spread, and, surprisingly, it was the THRADDASH who responded to it first.

the galaxy is truly full of wonders and surprises.



2272.1.17

the YEHAT has proposed establishment of an executive council within the GALACTIC COMMUNITY, and we feel that it is a very good idea, it would allow for more coordinated approach against the ULTIMATEL EVIL that are the UR-QUAN, and, to a lesser degree, the L'LOSIANS.

initial proposal would see us, along with the KRYPTANS and the BRYLL as the members of the council, but Era Nanat has already expressed beliefs that it would be prudent to increase the council's numbers eventually to let others dedicate themselves to the leadership.

that, however, is something for the later decades.




2272.2.29

yet again it feels that our external politics are being pushed in a certain direction by the decisions of others.

while the decision made by THARBARITES is painful, we will not interfere, as they are free peoples, however it puzzles our council that the SYREEN, KRYPTANS or even MO TOS would allow the L'LOSIANS to join.

perhaps it is due time to consider joining the STELLAR ENTENTE, considering that not only our species are their affiliaties, but many that we consider close friends already.

perhaps our membership would give other the little push of diplomatic courage they need, but then, what of our friends in the MUTUAL ASSISTANCE PARTNERSHIP?

the council has started deliberations on this topic, for a decision, sooner or later, has to be made.



2272.8.5

the ANDROSYNTH recently has ended their association with the MUTUAL ASSISTANCE PARTNERSHIP and has within two months became associates of the STELLAR ENTENTE.

the council, hearing these news, was no longer hesitating, and transmitted both our request to the STELLAR ENTENTE as well as declaration to our officials and envoys that we shall be joining the good BLOBBOS and SUPOX.

we have long been neutral but it is simply not the correct path. it is time for our crystalline selves to finally being moving towards our goals.



2272.8.24

we have routed our request through the SUPOX government, and they delivered a response within two weeks.

now we await their vote, although the BLOBBOS have already expressed joy at our request.





2272.9.13

CHENJESU have joined the STELLAR ENTENTE, and BLOBBOS have given us the communication frequencies of the reclusive CURATOR ORDER that we have never met before!

we have immediately established a working relationship between the CURATORS and our science division.

meanwhile, our accomplished official, Bzzrakk Frroww has became our delegate to the STELLAR ENTENTE, and while they have no diplomatic focus or skill of any note, their experience alone makes them a worthy choise for this position.



2272.12.22

our joining of the STELLAR ENTENTE has had repercussions we have no considered! our defense pact with the ANDROSYNTH was annulled, and this spurred the UR-QUAN to declare war.

Vrzazz Tzer-Tzak, whose science vessel is in vicinity, will monitor the situation within ANDROSYNTH space.



2273.3.15

we have received the first images of the attack by the UR-QUAN and they have deployed two flotillas, which each alone possess firepower equal to our combined two.

the ANDROSYNTH were caught off-guard as they are deep in YEHAT territory at the moment, but even with cessation of hostilities they might not get back there in time to prevent destruction of their colonies.





2273.4.5

a third UR-QUAN flotilla has been detected by Vrzazz Tzer-Tzak, and even if it is not at full capacity it is still stronger than any of ours.

meanwhile, the council has finished STATECRAFT traditions and have also taken the belief that our science division needs to be enlarged.



2274.5.27

for the past year our council has been deliberating on the course of action but we cannot allow our friends the ANDROSYNTH to simply cease to be. the SYREEN lost their homeworld to a cataclysm and SUPOX lost their origin garden to UR-QUAN already.

we have begun a vote within the STELLAR ENTENTE to contain the UR-QUAN threat as it is now. our power might be not enough. our newfound allies might not agree.



2274.6.12

it seems that everything in our history as a spacefaring nation has been moving towards this, perhaps the history abhors stoicism and neutrality which we were inclined towards at this time.

COREWARD ARMADA and EXPEDITIONARY SQUADRON have already been on the way to ANDROSYNTH space when the BLOBBOS and SUPOX agreed to our proposal, their thrusters fueled by exotic gases stockpile we have at the moment to further facilitate their move against the enemy.

the UR-QUAN, as they were, seem to be delighted at this opportunity to 'cleanse' us.

we will not let them.
