Do you get kicked to the lose screen if the US is invaded and loses the war?

World War III: South China Sea Front

A Taiwanese surgical strike against China prompted a Soviet invasion of Taiwan with China and South Korea joining in the attack. Initially the Soviet Union provided the most troops though their ongoing troop reduction to Occupied Japan eventually led to China assuming leadership in the invasion. Despite U.S. efforts to reinforce Taiwan, the combined Communist forces eventually won a decisive victory with the capture of Taipei less then one week into the invasion. The Republic of China subsequently surrendered unconditionally and were forcibly reunited under the Red Chinese. To make matters worse failed economic sabotage against the Soviet Union and a successful sabotage against China each caused President Baldwin's popularity to plummet making it even more necessary to secure some kind of ground victory as soon as possible.

Do you have any countries in mind to invade for that ground victory?

Major Scandal!

The President of Ireland is outraged when her husband was forced to partake in the public tour of the White House instead of as the spouse of a foreign head of state. Seriously we're at war and yet we're still doing tours? Are you serious?! Anyways the Economic Advisor actually had the nerve to insult our guest so he was ordered by President Baldwin to take some time off and leave the White House immediately otherwise he would be going on vacation indefinitely.

Red Dawn Invasion Delayed

It appears the Soviet Union isn't confident they have enough troops in position to attack America as they have actually requested the deployment of troops to the United States instead of actually invading right away. The invasion however hasn't been postponed only delayed by two weeks. Chances are this will repeat until the Soviets have enough troops in the area, America doesn't have enough troops at home, or their ambition/ethics improve. So it is likely the invasion threat will remain active throughout the course of the war. Should the U.S. refuse the answer to this "request" they obviously will be allowed to deploy to one of several Communist states on our border despite the fact they have troops in all those locations already.

Stationing troops in the US sure will make invading easy when they have men on the inside, probably best to refuse that kind of not very sneaky tactics.

World War: Occupation Of Lebanon and Soviet Leader Dead

Following months of setbacks during the Third World War including the loss of several allies to enemy occupation or sponsored coups, the United States and their allies have scored a series of victories in the conflict. With U.S. and British aid, the State of Israel has invaded and militarily occupied Lebanon in only the course of one hour which has finally awarded us some leadership effectiveness which was stuck at 0% despite successes in covert operations. Only 10% but that's all we need for covert operations to make a difference and for surgical strikes to have a chance of success. However it didn't take long for this to happen.

On the evening of May 6th, 1997, Soviet Chairman Gennady Yanayev was assassinated by Jim Phelps and Ethan Hunt of the IMF. No not the International Monetary Fund but the Impossible Mission Force a top secret agency often employed by the U.S. government to take on missions deemed far too risky to take by traditional intelligence groups such as the CIA. It doesn't get more difficult then getting someone into the Kremlin. CNN quickly learned our role in the assassination and, because the existence of the IMF must be kept top secret, the CIA has taken full credit. In the aftermath of Yanayev's assassination, the KGB and the military have now assumed direct control over the Soviet government with neither ambition nor ethics improving and both sides of vowed to continue the war until total victory could be achieved. Regardless this latest success has resulted in a popularity boost which was pretty poor only last week. After all, the man who overthrew Gorbachev back in '91 and broke the nuclear taboo by ordering a nuke strike against the U.S. in '96, is now HISTORY and justice has been served.

Good to see we finally get a victory after all the losses recently, especially good to see the increase in leadership effectiveness.
