There are many furniture items that don't block smoothing and engraving jobs. In fact, blocking smoothing and engraving jobs appears to be the exception rather than the rule. But when a furniture building job is completed, any smooth or engrave designations on that cell are always cancelled, regardless of whether the furniture would have blocked the jobs or allowed them to be done.

Cancelling the smoothing and engraving designations should only happen if the furniture is one of the types that actually block smoothing and engraving.
