Yep, just claimed it in agentchat, in the hopes it would pressure them into claiming it back.
Did, uh, not expect them to have an immediate groupchat to someone who can bypass everything to kill a target if they know their name.
Still would have lived it though, if it had happened, because I doubt they would have doubled up on killing me with a mafiakill that strong.

Well, I'd like to run another FBYOR around November or December. In the meantime, if nobody else takes priority, I can put up my Mostly Vanilla Mafia 4 thread.

How vanilla is mostly?  Please tell me this is like a bastard game?

Well no.

Mostly Vanilla Mafia is a game series I've been running where the goal is to create a vanilla closed setup, and then bend it just enough to keep things interesting.

It's been pretty good. I think Mostly Vanilla Mafia 2 was one of my favorite games run of all time.

FoU has some twisted role ideas. Screw second-guessing this mechanical garbage spaghetti, I'm basing everything on reads and visible daytime behaviour.

Would you like to play a game of Mafia? The subforum is always open to new players.

Well, despite the accidental ending, that game was quite good overall. Buuuut I think I need a bit of a break now due to the severe exhaustion in the middle.

Well, I tried it was a pretty hard spot to sub into. Didn't expect Max to have a kill but don't blame them for killing me...

Wagoninng FoU was an excellent play, but it might've been a bit too obvious. I don't think you had any better options at that point, though. I called it the cursed slot for a reason.

You did great, Toons!

And I can't wait for us to start a game together again; I already know I better claim SuperCop!

Wao..

Of note, there is a good chance Crystal is town. They can restore people's abilities to normal, though not any shots fired. This is a 1 shot.

Sorry Magma, no clue why you died but sorry.

Is there an award for actions failing all nights all game?
Anyways, here was my role for the game:
Nian (Town)

Welcome, Crystalizedmire. You are the mythical Nian. Your crippling fear of red, long your bane, could prove an advantage, for you are aligned with the Town... You win when all Anti-Town factions are dead and at least one member of the Town is alive.

You have the following abilities:

(Night) Raid [t]: Steal a random non-Innate, non-Mafiakill ability from the target.

(Day) Size Up [t]: Learn how many non-Innate abilities the target has.

(Night, 1-shot) Beast of the New Year [t]: Return target’s role to its default ability set. All gained abilities are lost, and all lost abilities are regained; in both cases, stolen abilities are returned to their original owners, if possible. This doesn’t refill X-Shot abilities.

(Night, Free, 1-shot) Erythrophobia: Tonight, your actions fail on Mafia-aligned players.

(Auto) Long Incisors: You can’t lose abilities.

Goood Job on Killing Mafia Protecting Town Max. Good thing it wasn't the other way~

That said, Kill Town Protect Mafia.
Chara (Town)

Welcome, TricMagic. You are Chara, the former human. You’d rather have been Mafia than Town, but them’s the breaks; you win when all Anti-Town factions are dead and at least one member of the Town is alive. You have the following abilities:

(Night, Free) Omnipresence [t]: Learn one of the target’s non-Innate, non-Mafiakill abilities at random.

(Night, 1-shot) The Devil That Comes When You Call Its Name [t]: If the target has killed another player, kill them.

(Night, 1-shot) Lovely Gift [t]: Give the target a Real Knife.

Quote
(Night, 1-shot) Real Knife [t]: Kill the target.
Wouldn't give you a knife if I didn't have a way to pay out the karma. Though also works on Scum.

Oh gosh.  Here is an award for you though, celebrating this... success?
