Interacting with locked door freezes the game???

Trying to open a locked door dialogue appears to be pick the lock or bash it down picking the lock makes the sound effect bashing the door does nothing

 neither one of them do anything and the menu does not go away and you're stuck inside of this menu

Pressed every button on the keyboard to no avail had to use task manager to get out of the game

Known bug. The lock picking/door bashing interface doesn't work properly right now.

Can't interact with levers to open locked cells in dark fortresses either

It's so janky, classic version simply has you an automatic prompt to either bash door or leave them be. Pressing level is just "u" key and either yes or no.

Does anybody know how to become an elephant man in adventure mode? I literally did all advanced world settings possible to increase chances.
