The fighter falls into the pit, crossing through magic and shadow, only to land back at the start of the hallway, startling his stunned companions.

You clear you throat,
“A clumsy mistake. Minus five points for the fool who falls.”

Well, why couldn’t you have a little fun with it?

(1 holy moly the dice hate these guys)

The fighter is clearly angered by your clever taunt and leaps across the gap, only to slip on the smoothed stone on the other side and fall back into the hole.

Your laughter rings in his ears as you subtract another 5 points.

They slowly make their way through. The rogue only falls in once, and your condolences and the subtraction of only a single point just fuels the fire of his anger. The Druid keeps to the form of a sparrow, flitting concernedly about her allies.

The fighter falls again and again, until they finally make it to the end of the hallway where the fighter triumphantly leaps upon the final steps leading to the doorway.

Which falls under his feet. A curse comes from his lips, but instead of shadow waiting his fall it’s a floor of pointed spears.

The blades pierce his body. One pierces his throat. Mercifully he passes quick.

His companions look on in horror at the bloody corpse.

“Minus 33 points for dying!”  You cheerfully intone.

(2 what is happening)

“You bastard!” the cloaked rogue hisses. She leaps, pushing off the wall for a little extra distance, and lands on the last bit of stairs before the doorway.

Which collapse under her too.

Luckily for her she twists in the air to avoid impalement, but the blades cut her deeply, spraying green blood. One spear goes through her leg. She cries out in pain as the Druid goes to her side. Healing magic envelops them both, and they slowly climb to their feet. Both look exhausted.

“20 points for not dying, but minus 15 for cheating!”

They curse you, but these DEFILERS deserve nothing less than your full derision.

Carefully they climb up to the doorway, and enter into the next room.

It is a simple room. A well lies at the center, cobblestone rising the ground in a simple ring. Tepid water sluishes in the cracks beneath the adventurers feet as they venture in.

What do they find?

A. Their darkest wish come to life.

B. Fishman cursed to live in the well.

C. Something else?

C -  Here lives a bound water spirit. The only thing scarier than seeing a tentacle of water dragging your friend under the surface is being the one trapped at the bottom of the well, pinned down by the weight of the water as it tries to force its way into your lungs

Also, the water should be grimy and generally unpleasant-looking, but unerringly trickle its way toward any and all adventurers, leaving unidentified silty sludge in its wake. If the disgust reaction doesn't hurt their sanity badly enough, I'm sure being grabbed and yanked by the water itself will.

The frog is a water spirit that controls the water to drag people under.

This is normal for frogs.

The two weary RAIDERS approach the well. You wait till they get close enough before telling the water elemental to strike.

(3)

A solid tongue of water shoots out from the well, smashing into the Druid. She cries out before being enveloped by the fetid water. The rogue slashed ineffectually at the living water as it withdraws into the well with its wriggling captive down into the well.

You grin (invisibly of course). The Druid flounders as she is brought to the central mass of the water, shaped into a large frog. The rogue fiddles with her belt for a moment, and when you look back the Druid shapeshifts into a fish.

Your grin disappears as she swims unharmed through your liquid guardian, and the rogue throws an object which somehow blows about the water frog’s head. The shockwave does appear to stun the fish Druid briefly, however.

(5)
The rogue bravely leaps down, dodging the tentacles of water forming. She weaves through and grabs the fish form, awakening her. She glances around in time to see a tentacle slam against them both.

However they are more prepared, and a wave of force propels the water back, and another freezes a solid core. A leap and a stab from the dripping rogue shatters it.

Exhausted and soaked to the bone, they see the door leading out of the well half buried in mud. They pry it open and move on.

They enter the oval room, and in the center is an archway, the top of which is a golden keystone, shining with an unholy light. Inside which lies a slumbering demon which you must prevent escaping.

Defending the stone is your champion:

A. Gro-Mash the Rage Vampire: your rage filled life draining killing machine. If selecting Gro-mash you may also describe an additional benefit (either environmental,a weapon, some minions, etc.)

B. Something else? Won’t be as strong as Gro-mash, but you can make up for that in creativity and flexibility.

Gro-mash. Give him a massive, sharpened shovel to use as a weapon. And badass, gold and platinum, gauntlets.

Spiked gauntlets, if we can manage it. Then if he gets disarmed, he can give them a hell of an uppercut.
