The fighter falls into the pit, crossing through magic and shadow, only to land back at the start of the hallway, startling his stunned companions.
You clear you throat,
“A clumsy mistake. Minus five points for the fool who falls.”
Well, why couldn’t you have a little fun with it?
(1 holy moly the dice hate these guys)
The fighter is clearly angered by your clever taunt and leaps across the gap, only to slip on the smoothed stone on the other side and fall back into the hole.
Your laughter rings in his ears as you subtract another 5 points.
They slowly make their way through. The rogue only falls in once, and your condolences and the subtraction of only a single point just fuels the fire of his anger. The Druid keeps to the form of a sparrow, flitting concernedly about her allies.
The fighter falls again and again, until they finally make it to the end of the hallway where the fighter triumphantly leaps upon the final steps leading to the doorway.
Which falls under his feet. A curse comes from his lips, but instead of shadow waiting his fall it’s a floor of pointed spears.
The blades pierce his body. One pierces his throat. Mercifully he passes quick.
His companions look on in horror at the bloody corpse.
“Minus 33 points for dying!” You cheerfully intone.
(2 what is happening)
“You bastard!” the cloaked rogue hisses. She leaps, pushing off the wall for a little extra distance, and lands on the last bit of stairs before the doorway.
Which collapse under her too.
Luckily for her she twists in the air to avoid impalement, but the blades cut her deeply, spraying green blood. One spear goes through her leg. She cries out in pain as the Druid goes to her side. Healing magic envelops them both, and they slowly climb to their feet. Both look exhausted.
“20 points for not dying, but minus 15 for cheating!”
They curse you, but these DEFILERS deserve nothing less than your full derision.
Carefully they climb up to the doorway, and enter into the next room.
It is a simple room. A well lies at the center, cobblestone rising the ground in a simple ring. Tepid water sluishes in the cracks beneath the adventurers feet as they venture in.
What do they find?
A. Their darkest wish come to life.
B. Fishman cursed to live in the well.
C. Something else? Between the fighter and cleric you got +60 points! Got an extra ten from making the fighter so mad.
Fighter ended up with -73 points, the rogue with -20
