Hm, considering recent history has, at best, flattered Nerds but hindered them, allowing assholes like Elon Sucks and Benzos to dominate them, I don't think you're gonna find an "ideal" future for nerds.  Even Billy was a thief and Jobless was a charlatan.

In fact, society's gun turret seems to be swinging back against the nerds.  What was revered must be reviled.
