Adventure Map colors...
« on: May 17, 2007, 09:30:00 pm »

I can't find any files detailing the meanings of colors and such. For instance, the dark fortreses? Most of them are gray/black, but I found one that was 'pink' or 'purple'ish, depending on how different my colors are.

I can't tell the difference! Also, there are areas on the map with green trees, then ones with pink/purple trees, and other places that are all gray and black: What is the difference?

I'm trying to find out myself but it's tough. One of the pink/purple forests had a ton of Harpies. I'll check out the pink dark fortress. I think it was called "Incestrot." XD

Wiki Map Legend

The colors for towers are just a population counter.

Ah, thanks Toady! That's quite useful. Now I can find danger even more efficiently. Good aligned areas are picture-esque and relaxing... which means boring! I gotta find the areas with flaming grass and vicious skeletal elephants.

Hmm, this just occured to me. Skeletal Elephants imply that somehow, someway, an elephant died somewhere. XD

They have a lifespan in the raws.  Perhaps it was all natural.
