The magic would be expressed in volume but applied to the density of the target.

I already know.

It would mostly around making ones own rules abd finding workarounds for iniate limitations.

Essentially raw editing and modding.

Ive been trying to do this for years. It works like skyrim; you cant read the spellbook, you have to eat it. Because dwarves are mostly illiterate, like nords, and cant figure out how to write secrets down into books reliably, and wont read slabs, and refuse to huff the magic gas trick, and dont even topple statues anymore.

And yeah, the magic sometimes allows gender transformation. And species transformation. Not always by choice. Hope you like being a badger sow for a few days.

I have great respect for the badger sow after it caused the downfall of many of my Urists. This magic would be a clear sign of disfavour of the gods

But the gods may also curse you to madness, or grant you the ability to spontaneously give birth to a demon child, or summon dinner.
