Have animals inherit pens from their parents
« on: October 18, 2022, 12:23:57 am »

I have a bunch of chickens in a pen and every time their eggs hatch I have to manually assign the chicks to the pen, I think animals should by default inherit pens from their parents. Is there a reason why this isn't the case already?

I suppose it's because eggs come from nest boxes, while the others are from live birth? That's all I can think of. Maybe the reason is that eggs in nest boxes don't save who their parent is or something like that. But they could definitely guess from the pen that they're in surely?

You need to add the link address to the URL tags.

Like this:
