Importing goods
« on: March 15, 2022, 12:33:53 pm »

Say I need lots of coloured stone for a project, what're some ways to get as much imported as possible? Using adventurers (and maybe advfort) has just crossed my mind. How can I increase caravan imports besides the priority slider?

I'm fairly sure caravans bring more goods over time as you trade with them, but am not sure what the factors are (it could be the volume you buy, the profit they make, or how well their settlement is thriving..).

It might be worth testing all biomes in your embark for new sources, as some metal ores or refined ores could have the right colors.

There is something to be said about, if the stakes are as high, maybe reconsider your certitudes. One has to be aggressively allistic to feel entitled to be able to trust. But it won't happen to me, my bit doesn't count etc etc... Just saying, after my recent experiences I couldn't trust the public if I wanted to. People got their risk assessment neurons rotten and replaced with game theory. Folks walk around like fat turkeys taunting the world to slaughter them.
