while i was trying out my first adventurer in the new version

i met a deity

his? name was ala bravetaker

he was worshiped in the human temple of strenght

he is here he is all around me

i am not sure if it is a bug or not

tell me your experiances with the gods of these worlds

I noticed this as well. I think it's an option to pray to your god, after you join a religion. Pretty cool, but I haven't tried it out yet, for fear of holy wrath.   :p

Currently it opens the normal talk interface, with the usual conversation options, but your god doesn't actually say anything in response to your questions.

In the way, way distant future I imagine we'll have alternate planes of existence added where the gods can dwell.

Then you can take a portal and go there and beat them up and take their stuff.

I just started as a human, went to the temple, killed every priest, licked all their corpses, threw all except the High Priest's corpse off, then proceeded to lick his corpse for days. Then I put it away and jumped off. I survived, unfortunately, but after slaughtering a peasant I was put down by a guard and was sent flying into an empty pond.

Alternatively, go to a goblin fort and kill their god.

That'd be awesome, especially if their planes have inhabitants specific to their spheres, so if you go to the plane of the god of parties you'll end up fighting hordes of frat boys, swimming across rivers of cheap beer, and traveling through fields filled with geysers that spew bongwater and potsmoke.
